Hey all...
GOAL:
My end goal is to send a web page (single file) as an attachment (not
embedded) via email to any of the main email clients (Eudora, Outlook, etc).
Users see a single web page attachment and either double click or "view in
browser" in order to view it. (It is an attachment after all)....
When they DO open Internet Explorer (is all I need, not netscape), a single
image appears with some appended text.

Hello.
I have an ASP.NET application where I allow the user to upload attachments.
I upload the attachments as binary data to an image column in sql server. I
have managed to upload the data correctly. However, I need to be able to set
binary field back to NULL if the user wants to delete an attachmnet. What is
the proper way to do this? Thanks in advance.
I currently receive the following error.

Can anyone recommend a good online guide to using objects in javascript?
The book I bought (DHTML Utopia) suggests using objects to keep the code
clean and stop namespace clashes between different parts of the code, but
as far as I can see, the way objects work in javascript is quite awkward.
I had it working the way they suggest in the book, and it was going OK
until I wanted to call one object method from another - I couldn't find a...

At <http://snow.prohosting.com/srcopan/dry/test.es.html>, you will see
that the background image runs down the left margin. The right hand side
of it is faded, watermark style, but it is one single image.
my intention is for the header and text to appear to the right of the
unfaded portion of the image, and on top of the watermarked portion. At
most viewport widths it works as intended. However, if the viewport is
narrowed enough to...

Hi everyone,
This is an issue I have been picking away at for the past two weeks and am running short of ideas. :-\ I am writing an ASP page that allows a user to open/save a tif image stored on SQL Server.
The user triggers the download by clicking a hyperlink which loads getAttachment.asp (code listed below). GetAttachment.asp connects to SQL Server through an ODBC and attempts to download the specified tiff using BinaryWrite(). It...

Hi,
I have an Image which is dark grey/black, at the top a white line, at the
left site a white line as well.
At 192 px from the left of the screen I position a DIV with this image as
the background image. In the code I've added a multi line textbox (in my
real world it is a treeview). It is placed that I would have to scroll to
see the entire textbox. What happens is that the image will repeat itself,
this is what you expect. Because...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
