cURL, PHP, Forms and Cookies and passing it all - where to begin?

1 New Member
Forgive me - I am a bit new to cURL and passing form elements from one site to the next...

If you can help with a HOW TO or by holding my hand a bit with examples - so I can learn - I would be in debt to you and very appreciative -...

1) I have several external sites with simple forms (see http://www.wichitahomecenter.com/enter/register.html
) where I collect data on servers I own or have access to...

2) I have, by certain trade association restrictions, been forced to use a single 3rd party web site provider to gain, or rather to have my site visitors, gain access to the data they seek (real estate MLS search site).. the issue is that 3rd party site is basic crap templated junk with no ability for me to edit anything to make it even a slight SEO'ed site... BUT I can send traffic to a single login page they host that I can otherwise frame or whatnot and avoid sending traffic to their poorly designed web pages and thus still give my site visitors access to the data they need... but that site requires registration as well..

aa: I do not want to have to have site visitors register twice.

How can I use httpretreiver, curl or other to collect form field information in the forms I host and pass it to the 3rd party site - plus grab that site's cookie and session info so visitor registers on my forms and is passed seemlessly thry to the search site already logged in??? the site I am sending all traffic to is:

http://wichitahomehunter.com/engine/...0/residential/

please give me a hand, or send me a link to where I can learn more.

Thanks!

I've successfully used CURL to maneuver around and through sites but a new site I've been trying to work with has got me stumped. To retrieve the data I'm trying to get a login is required. If you go to any page in the "member" area without logging in you get directed to a https connection and hit login.php (ie: you end up at https://www.domain.com/login.php). The problem, I believe, lies in the fact that the form on that page...

Hi everybody, I am desperately trying to log into my account at godaddy.com with PHP and Curl and just cannot make it happen. Has anybody written a script for this purpose? Here is what I tried but the result is always the login page. $curl=curl_init(); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, FALSE);

Hello, can someone please tell me the correct way to use "curl" to complete an online form? I am trying to eventually retrieve my account balance via a cron job that will email me the parsed output of the web page that gets returned from the curl form completion. The page I am trying to access is https://retire.hartfordlife.com/index.html and the html block that contains the form is: <form method="post" name="form1"...

I've been trying to find a solution to this for quite some time now... I even took a look at existing scripts... Including this one... http://groups.google.co.uk/group/comp.lang.php/browse_thread/thread/2e052386da903425/b03ec83ac55273a2?lnk=st&q=&rnum=1#b03ec83ac55273a2 Everyone on that post seems to say its to do with the cookie's, yet if infact they had tried this script they would have found that even with the cookies enabled this...

While trying to learn the ins and outs of the php CURL library, I decided to write a php script that posts a form on the Chicago Board of Options (CBOE) web site, which returns an ASCII text file. CBOE appears to keep your form query data in cookies, so this seemed like a good use of curl. Well, my script works just fine when run from the commandline. When accessed from my browser, it returns an empty string where the data should be....

So, I'd like to create the following scenario: 1) Use cURL library within PHP (cURL + "Cookie Jar", et.al) to create a virtual browser session that "logs in" to a remote site. (For example: here: http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/php/examples/cookiejar.html and here: http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/php/examples/ebay_login.html

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
