You should stop by these great sites for great Javascripts that you can easily integrate into your PHP programs.

http://www.xyscipts.com
http://www.brainjar.com
http://www.treemenu.com
There are of course many more sites but these three you can't do without.

http://www.treemenu.org <-- free treemenu -- the treemenu.com is a payware version i suppose
http://www.yxscripts.com <-- correction to the above -- dyslexia!

sorry for the typos...

Joel Spolsky's new article "How Microsoft Lost the API War" at http://www.joelonsoftware.com/articles/APIWar.html describes how .NET has failed, how classic VB6 and ASP continue to be preferred by developers, and how Microsoft has lost control of the preferred API. You really should read the article. Here are some excerpts: <Joel Spolsky> "And yet, people aren't really using .NET much.

Hello, I'm working with Dreamweaver MX and we started to develop our website with Javascript too. However, unlike "Eclipse" for Java developement I don't have the support for Javascript code completion (the "dot notation") in Dreamweaver MX, like for ex. navigator.plugins.name.indexOf("Flash") Instead of looking in my book reference which objects I am allowed to

http://www.JavascriptToolbox.com/bestpractices/ I started writing this up as a guide for some people who were looking for general tips on how to do things the 'right way' with Javascript. Their code was littered with document.all and eval, for example, and I wanted to create a practical list of best practices that they could easily put to use. The above URL is version 1.0 (draft) that resulted. IMO, it is not a replacement for the FAQ,...

Is there a way to obtain user information (using LOGON_USER server variables) when you have set up the security to Anonymous Access? I have tried setting the security to both Anonymous + Window Integrated, without any luck. I'm using IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003 Thanks in advance!

I have been developing web applications with ASP & Javascript for a long time. I have been using Visual Studio 2003.NET. While VS2003 is okay for intellisense of ASP & Javascript, it's still not that great. One of the cons of ASP & Javascript is that they're both interpreted, which means one has twice the amount of work to do interms of syntax checking & semantic/runtime checking. Another bad thing is that ASP & Javascript doesn't have...

Thanks everyone again for contributing to helping me clear C++ confusions. I did some serious reading on copy constructors and assignments and I think I've got a good handle on the memory stuff. Well, I came across Scott Meyer's SmartPtr example from some 10 years ago. I like the template member function for type conversion to solve inheritance issues. On MSVS 2003, I get the below error, if I declare the constructor SmartPtr(T*...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
