RSA SecurID Token Authentication Using PHP

Has anybody used RSA's (www.rsasecurity.com) tokens with PHP?

I bought all the server-side software, and I'm looking for the easiest way
to do this. Goal is to have a web-based system where to log in one must put
in userid, password, and the digits from the SecurID token.

Thanks.

Somewhere I read about authenticating against a file token on the user's hard drive - but I can't find the book I read it in anymore. If you know what I'm talking about please let me know. Here's what I remember. Evidently there's a standard filename that can be created in a local directory and you can right click it and set properties to it. Once this file is created on a user's computer you can send a request from ASP or VBscript to...

Hello, Here is my situation. I have developed several apps that require authentication to access. For authentication, I have the users enter thier user/pass and click login, which is then sent to an LDAP Server (NOVELL) - if binding is successful, I use the login object to retrieve various fields/attributes of the LDAP directory for that user. This works just fine, but what I want to do is transparently log the user in - so they do...

Anyone know how can I integrate the SecurID Authentication Solution into our existing asp.net application? How can I call the API functions of the RSA ACE/Agent authentication API directly from within our asp.net application? We are using C# language. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

In IIS, when 'anonymous user' is disabled anyone entering the site must be authenticated. After authentication, IIS's worker process assumes the identity of the authenticated user rather than the identity of the worker process. So far I've only found code that obtains the token of the worker process' identity. That's not what I need. Is there a way to obtain the token for the user? Thanks in advance.

Hey all, This may be a very basic question, but I'm new to forms authentication. Basically, we have Site 1 which is a login site where a security token is generated. On Site 1 there are several links. One of those links is for Site 2 which exists on another server several hundred miles away. I'm administering Site 2 and I need to receive and parse the token from Site 1 (I do have access to a decrypt-token web service on Site 1

Anyone doing python application authentication using RSA SecurID tokens? We have a Pylons app that needs this. I've written code against RSA's API and found the docs terrible and the libraries painful to use. RSA has a RADIUS server fronting their server so I expect I could use that instead, might be easier. This is on Solaris10 x86 which supports PAM but I've never accessed PAM from Python, any pointers? I've done RADIUS before...

Folks, I'm trying to figure out what's going on in our ASP.NET 2.0 app here. We're using .NET 3.0 WCF to communicate with tons of external web services. So far, we've been using Forms Authentication against our custom store to authenticate users, and when they are authenticated, we issued a SAML token for calling a plethora of webservices later on. Works like a charm.

Hi, I have an ASP.Net application running on IIS6 that uses Windows authentication. I have recently discovered an apparently well-known issue that because the 'Security Context' is cached for authenticated clients, changes made in active directory to a user account are not picked up by the application. My application has a log-in form that users can use to forcibly log in as a particular user. But what I am doing there is simply...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
