I think this is really a HTML question, right?

To use a graphic file as backgrounf in a table simply use

<table background="arc hit01.jpg" id="gfx">
<tr>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>

I'm trying to get a single column DataGrid to display a graphic. I set up the DataGrid template to display and image. This is what I've tried based on the example I found: Dim dgiItem As DataGridItem For Each dgiItem In DataGrid1.Items With DirectCast(dgiItem.FindControl("Image1"), WebControls.Image)

Hello, We have been using the "webctrl_client controls" for a while now in a variety of applications. And, at this one a client site where via "localhost" the treeview displays perfectly yet when we try to display the treeview from the ourside world it fails. Just click on the link and you will see exactly what I mean: http://216.70.227.3/demofood/Department.aspx?Department=Menu&Group=&DisplayInventory=true As you can see the tree...

I am writting a control that paints an image to a graphic (created from a bmp). I want to be able to display the painted image directly without having to save to file and link to the saved image. I have been told this can now be done in .NET 2.0. Is this so? How? -- Thanks Brian

I am looking for a simple way to set the image transparency in a PictureBox. I have a moving PictureBox containing a graphic image .. moving by incrementing its Left property. The background however shows white as the PictureBox moves but I want it to be transparent. The PictureBox BackColor is set to Transparent .. but no affect. I have used PhotoShop to make the image background transparent .. again no affect. If I make the image a...

Never mind. There was a stray comment tag inbetween the CSS code and the body code. I am working on a web page with a background image. I tried using the CSS background tag to avoid the slice and dice table approach. This is the page: http://www.pencraftco.com/slvrec/index.htm It works just fine in Flock 1.2.4 In IE6, the only thing that shows up on the page is the background image. Everything else is gone. If I delete the CSS...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
