Hi,
I was just wondering if there is a way to connect to the secure imap
server (port 993) without having --with-imap-ssl option turned on. I
have --with-imap and --with-openssl and recompiling php is not an option
(I'm not the server owner). Any suggestions/links are appreciated.
Thanks,
Marko

Is it possible to extract the email-body from a IMAP-mail-file ?
The function 'imap_body()' expects that I'm connected to an IMAP-server, but
I'm not. I just have the file.
So I'm looking for a possiblity to use imap_body and give the name of the
file as a parameter.
Thanks in advance.

and i m working on a module where i have to
1. Install a MTA
2. Send and access received mails using PHP
The first part is over...Installed QMail and its working fine.
For the second part ..I m unable to access the imap_* functions

Hello,
I would like to access (open) my remote IMAP Mailbox with the
imap_open() function in PHP Version 5.0.4. The Mailbox is located at
the german provider freenet.de.
The imap_open() function does not produce an error message as you can
see below. But when I call the imap_headers() function the warning
message mentioned in the subject as well as below is returned.

Hello there,
I'm trying to create a connection with an IMAP server which is secured
through SSL. I can get the connection just fine, and I get a first respone
from the server. But then I send out my login string, and it does not seem
to arrive at the server, because I don't get an answer returned! After some
time, I receive a message from the server saying that I've been idle for too
long, and then the connection gets closed..
But why...

Greetings,
I currently have incoming email piped to a php script using a .forward
file. I would like to be able to parse the incoming mail, perform
operations, and then fire back an email (immediately) to the sender.
Is there any way that I can use the php IMAP functions on either the
php://stdin stream (the means through which the email is piped as raw
text) or on a plain string?
If not, are there any recommendations for what I can...

Good day to all,
Does anyone here have any experience using the IMAP functions of PHP?
Using those functions, can I make a script/s that can handle incoming mails in my website? Do you know any available wrapper functions (just to make things more easy) that I could use for this?
Thank you and Regards,

Hi guys,
I have a pet project I'm trying to get off the ground - I'd like to build an IMAP server.
Now, it's one with a bit of a twist, and the twist is that it won't be used to send and receive mail... (told you there was a twist!)
I can't explain a huge amount but there are a few basics which I know I have to be able to understand, in this kind of order:
I assume it's possible to build a Windows service which can listen on port 143...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
