Problem with form variable that begins with a number

Hi there,

I'm working a query that processes form variables. However one of the
variables begins with a number. This is from a canned program so I
actually need to remain, eg:

<input type=text name="00N300000 00qVb2" size=20>

I need to proceess this variable on the page I post to, but obviously
$00N30000000qVb 2 won't work as a var in PHP. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Chuck

You shouldn't have register_global s on anyway. Turn it off, and use
$_GET["00N30000000qVb 2"].

or $_POST , depending on what method type you use in your form attribute.

Hi, I've got a very strange problem with a Websphere 5.1 cluster attached to DB2 database in Mainframe z/OS. I have a J2EE deployed application running normally fine agains the DB2 host. But, sometimes, the application stop working. In the moment that application fails, the only way to get it working again is to restart WebSphere server or JDBC pool.

We've been unable to get events working going from C# to VJ++. We think that the C# component is being exposed properly as a ConnectionPoint, and the Advise() from the VJ++ side seems to be working, because the delegate on the C# side has 1 item in its invocation list after the Advise(). However when we try to make the callback, we get: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at...

I am pretty much lost here - I am trying to create a managed c++ wrapper for this dll, so that I can use it from c#/vb.net, however, it does not conform to any standard style of coding I have seen. It is almost like it is trying to implement it's own COM interfaces... below is the header, and a link to the dll+code: Zip file with header, example, and DLL:...

Hi, a newbie here. I don't have a real firm grasp on the idea of Javascript, as I'm used to programming in Qbasic and C. I'm not used to OOP. Anyway, I really don't have any idea what the problem is with this code, it just simply won't work properly. Some of the functions aren't done, but the main one gives me a Not a Number message in the text box where the calculations are supposed to come up. I tried to use a parseInt on my stuff,...

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out. I'm building a vb.net application that has a form with a panel that contains several other sub forms (as a collection of controls). What I'm wanting to do is call a generically named public sub in the top-most sub form in the panel. I have the name of the top-most form as a string (eg. g_TopForm = "frmCustomers") and I can reference the form with:

Hi Everyone, I'll try to explain the process I'm following, I'm new to this so I'm triying the easy way first, probably the lasyest too! I created a new Project, drag in to it a SQLConnection, configured, dragged an Dataadapter per each table I need it, then generated the dataset, after that, I stablished the relations between tables, then, went over to the datasources, choose the parent datasource and clicked on the + sign, it...

Hi all, Basically I want the data in an open form to merge with a word template and create a new document. So a user navigates to a particular records and presses a button "Produce Document" and access merges the current data with a template and up pops a "save as" box allowing the user to save their new document where ever.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
