Iam running a server and PEAR is compiled with PHP. Before some days I have
upgraded PHP from 4.3.4 to 4.3.7 using Apache update from WHM (cPanel). This
went well but after that one client contacted me to tell me that he have
problems with showing some variables. The thing is that he told me that he is
using his own PEAR installation in his web hosting account !

I've been using PHP for a while now - and have recently been trying
to set up PHP, MySQL and Apache on Windows (for a client).
It seems like all the PEAR stuff under PHP 5 doesn't work out of the box.
It took me a while to track down the go-pear.bat file in the root -
what with all the other garbage in there.
Shouldn't this file get at least a mention in:

My hosting company has pre-intalled PEAR in a directory out of the web
directory (and not in php-includes).
I've tried including the absolute /to/path/ in the requre statement but it
does not work.
How would I access the PEAR packages?

I have installed PHP 5.0.3 for OS X. I have read in several places that
PEAR is included in recent installations of PHP. I'm having trouble
getting PEAR DB working. How would I know or test to see if it was
included in my installation?
Just in case it helps I've attached the phpinfo() configure line below

I've been battling to install PEAR on Windows XP now for too long. I
am not sure what I need to do.
When I run go-pear.php from the command line, I get the error message
as shown at the end. I included everything in case there is something
there that's helpful. I'm trying to install PEAR so that I can use
PHPUnit.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
