Is there a way to make a text link post to a form without passing all
the parameters in the url? The urls tend to get very long and messy. I
often wonder if there is a limit to how long they can get?

Hi,
I have a program that runs on multiple client pc's. Occasionally one or more
of those pc's use VPN to connect to another corporate network. When using
VPN they need to set proxy server in Internet Explorer connection settings
(proxy:8080). However, as soon as this setting is enabled, the remoting
program running on their pc stops communicating with the server it sends
data to. I've disabled proxy setting on the affected pc, rebooted...

I have a form containing a link next to an input box. I include a
javascript function in the input by using the onblur='fuc()'. I used
this function to open another ASP page to do something and then close
the window. There was no problem if I just clicked other place on the
form. everything was working as charm. However, If I want to click the
link next to it after I moved out the input box, I always have to click
twice in order to...

Avoid "Program Database for Edit & Continue" in VC 2003!
This option made me think I'm in Twilight Zone! The code behaves as not
intended, the breakpoints in the debugger get skipped, the only positive
thing about it is that the error is repeatable.
Consider the following code snippet (it may not produce the bug, but I
can't really post mine whole project):
f(1);

I'm writing a .NET 1.1 client that invokes a method of a Web Service running

client or their server.
Here's the situation:
After invoking the web service successfully one time, all subsequent
requests then fail. Using...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
