MyCSV Database Engine Solution and GNU

Hey, i am working in a independent and portable
database that no need a server like MySQL.
It have some restrictions now, but it would be
best in the future with the MyCSV 0.2 version
that I am doing and will publish soon.

Visit the proyect and download, it is really useful and
if you are as me, that i do not have money for buy
a hosting and if you have problem with mysql,
that is the solution.

MyCSV 0.2 will have CSV export to SQL files and XML files
and Import functions for interchange, queries and sort of any kind,
table limit (actual problem). Documentation API in XML, Plain Text,
HTML with frames and OneSheet manual.

The Database have a blueprint file (for fast training, good use),
Documetation API in HTML with Frames, and a Front-End Application
(MyCSV-Admin.php) that can admin the complete database.

http://mycsv.sourceforge.net (it will be moved to
http://www.mycsv.com.ar)

(If you want use this, please refer my logo in somewhere, and mailme
Logo can be taken from documentation. Use for free. it's GIMP realized
it's useful to me for have a job, that i don't have!, and for make
MyCSV better in the future)

Enjoy. and Good Luck!!..

How fast does it run, only my experience with reading / writing to text
files says that any large file will be slow to process.

Greetings fellow coders, I'm still gaining experiance in developing PHP applications, and have completed a couple of projects already. This has prompted me to look for ways to reduce the development time for web enabled database applications. Every web database has basic operations such as add, delete, update and search. I have been creating HTML forms and processing the results with php code. I have managed to reduce the number of forms...

Hello, We are considering a project that requires implementing a database (Windows PC based) that would be shared by a small number of users. The database would store events output by our networking device, and any of the users could generate reports based on the stored event data. This would be for small, low-cost systems, not large enterprise systems with big commercial databases and dedicated servers.

What options are available for doing full-text searches of database data without using a database-specific full-text engine? The only option I've found is Google's Search Appliance but it's an expensive hardware solution and we prefer a software solution. In the past I've used development languages that had OEM Verity support which was wonderful but as far as I can tell the only out-of-the-box search available in ASP.NET is Index...

Hi guys, I want to write a database application, which I later want to sell. Now I am looking for a nice, little database which would have to fullfil these requirements: * Either free or low cost * Support encryption * run via network or locally * low CPU usage (I don't need a big web server database)

Hi -- we are a small manufacturing looking for a multi-user database to take customer orders (nothing too complicated, with 3 users total). We think we should be using Access, but are wondering what alternatives there are. It has been recommended to us to use ASP.net and SQL instead, with the reasoning that: 1) Access is likely to go obsolete at some point 2) It will be more stable Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

Hi all I just saw an ad in the latest ComponentSource newsletter for a database engine called VistaDB 3.0. http://www.vistadb.net/default.asp It looks very interesting as a database engine for smaller applications where you would normally use access. Plus it can be embedded into the exe.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
