We are looking for someone to either complete a php forum program or create one for us. There isn't really anything that is available that suits our needs and we have specific wants. If you are interested, we can supply you a link to our unfinished program to see if you could finish it or take a look at it and our current forum program to see what we are looking for and possibly give us a quote. We have an unfinished forum program....

Americans consider having a "British accent" a sign of sophistication and high intelligence. Many companies hire salespersons from Britain to represent their products, etc. Question: When the British hear an "American accent," does it sound unsophisticated and dumb? Be blunt. We Americans need to know. Should we try to change the way we speak? Are there certain words that sound particularly goofy? Please help us with your advice on this...

I'm looking for an ASP-based forum for a community of professionals. I like YABB: http://www.yabbforum.com/community/ It's pretty full featured. I like the built-in instant messaging, calendar, and support for plug-ins. However, it's Perl & I'd much rather have an ASP-based board that I can work with. I'd also like if each user could have an address book (or list of friends)

Sorry ffor the O.T. post here. But, as you can see, its not without some relevance to a large number of you who frequent this excellent forum. I'm new to PHP as I am to MySQL. My hope is that I find sources as knowledgeable in their specialties as I have in this forum.

Hello out there, I am a rather experienced C programmer. However, today I got a javascript assignment because someone left (something like: "You're a great programmer - you'll handle this.") and I never have done any web stuff before. Oh, and it's due within 2 weeks of course :( Having had a first look at javascript I noted some familiarities with C, but there also seems to be a lot of pre-defined stuff (like 'document') with certain...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
