I am going nuts trying to find a paragraph in a book that described how to
change the text content (HTML) in a DIV.
Actually I have an array of HTML strings that I want to drop into the DIV,
depending on button clicks, etc.
Putting this stuff into TEXTAREA and TEXT is simple, but I want to be able
to mix font families, weights, sizes, and stuff like that.
Thanks for your help.

Does anyone have any idea on how to colorize selected checkbox in
checkboxlist control ?
I've quite a huge checkboxlist (approximatively one full screen) and,
to improve user's experience, i wanted to highlight selected choices.
Does anyone know how to that ?

Hi all,
from a string embedding tabs I want to colorize them when expanded:
# Starting from a string:
a= '1234\t5678\t\t90\nqwerty\nasdfg'
# which embeds both tabs and lfs
# printing it you obtain:
print a
# 1234 5678 90

i hadn't designed a web page from the ground up for about 9 years, then
i was asked to do one. I'd dabbled with html and vaigly kept up with
some of the developments but other than that i've been stuck in 1996-7
thinking looking at web pages become more and more sophistocated (and
frequently slower to load!)
Back then html 3.2 was still the norm and the idea of seperating
structure and content, let alone style and structure was only...

Hi,
How do I get Visual Studio 2005 to colorize vbscript syntax as it does in
InterDev?
I am getting tired of having both apps launched.
Thanks

New in VS2005 is the colorize inactive feature.
However, it seems not to be able to handle _DEBUG.
Sections of code bracketed by "#ifdef _DEBUG" are grayed out (or not) in an
unpredictable fashion. Is this a know problem, or just something wrong with
my setup?
Thanks,
Marius Matioc

Let's say I have an image which is monochrome with areas of white, black and
shades of gray. Now I want to turn all the white parts into some RGB color
but it also needs to be darkened by the gray areas for the same color.
Like say it's an image of a sphere, it is white in the part it is under the
light but then as you get away from the light source it becomes darker and
darker gray. Now I want to take this image and apply just one RGB...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
