"Storage Module" Initialization Problem

Okay, I am using a web host that has squirrel mail working, as well as
Drupal. However, I am trying to install my own version of squirrel mail.

Both Drupal and Squirrelmail seem to rely on the same start_session() and
both share the same php.ini. However, I get the dreaded
"Fatal error: session_start() : Failed to initialize storage module" error.

I have seen hundreds of similar errors cited when I Google, yet I see no
serious documentation to solve it. Can anybody provide me with a solution?
Why do two separate PHP web apps work and another does not?

It's entirely possible that they use a custom session data handler
that stores the session information in some other medium than the
server filesystem (which is the default behaviour)

True, but then my install of Drupal would misbehave, wouldn't it? This is
why I scratch my head and bang it against the wall--on product works fine,
but SM keeps hitting a PHP bug that is alleged to happen intermittently at
best.

Hello friends, My friend asked me this question: This question regards proprietary software (of which I am one of the developers), so I cannot post actual code for this question. I will try to use illustrative examples. I have two libraries for distribution; one is an essential library and the other is an add-on (providing specialized extensions and

Hi There, We are extending Python interpreter to support special functions of our tools. What we did is to compile Python's source code (which is got from the an installation on a Linux environment for Python 2.3.3) and our extensions (C++ code) on Windows with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 compiler to generate the extended Python interpreter. It works well on Linux and for the basic Python modules and our special modules on Windows. But...

Folks, I've got a database and tablespaces "managed by automatic storage". I've deleted a lot of data from some tables. I've then reorged them. But the tablespaces don't appear to shrink in size (they just have lots of free space). How can I get DB2 to give the space back ?

For some unknown reason my mdb seemed to drop a module I had named "Utilities". I tried to copy the module back in from a backup copy and got the error message "<<MyProject>> is currently unable to rename the form, report, or module to 'Utilities' ... Close the database, reopen it, and try the rename operation again." This didn't work. It seemed that other modules could still be renamed normally, but this one - "Utilities" - could not. I could...

Hello, I am trying to create exectuables on inux using "pyinstaller". I am using pyinstaller-1.3, RHEL 4.4, Python 2.5. The executables fail to run. The problem returned is pertaining to "struct.py" not being able to find the module "_struct". struct.py is located under /usr/local/lib/python-2.5/, and there is a _struct.o (no _struct.py anywhere) located under /usr/local/lib/ python-2.5/lib-dynload.

I have this nasty problem with Shared methods and what I think of as "global storage" - i.e. storage declared outside of any subroutines or functions. In the simple example below this "global" storage is ButtonHasBeenClicked. In this simple example code in Form1 calls a routine in Module1 which then calls code back in Form1 (subroutine WhatEver). WhatEver needs to access ButtonHasBeenClicked but the reference to ButtonHasBeenClicked...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
