Hey folks... I have a standalone phpBB forums and just recently installed
PHPNuke on my website. I know phpnuke comes with it's own version of phpBB.
How can I make it possible for members who register through phpnuke to
automatically be register with my standalone phpBB?
If this is not possible, how can I transport my standalone phpbb to the one
that is included with PHPNuke?

Some time ago I was trying to reverse engineer the authentification
system in phpBB because I was building a community site in which there
was a phpBB Forum integrated as central component. The idea was to give
the users the possibility to log in once and then move on the entire
site without having to bother about login again.

I've recently seen a phpbb forum hacked. The hacker removed all
accounts, formed only one admin acc under his control and removed all
articles. How did he do that, anyway? And how can I protect my forums? I
presume programers of phpBB took care of SQL injection and such well
known attacks... so, what can I do as forum admin and (relatively)

Hi, everybody,
Rather strange thing occured to my phpBB forum. Out of nowhere I got a
user with user_id=99999, user_regdate=0 (UNIX timestamp, so regdate
would be "01. 01. 1970. (01:00:00)"), and user_last_visited=0. No admin
created that user, and I amy only one having direct access to the MySQL
base. WTF??? How can this happen? New user with totaly strange
properties just poped out of the blue? Such things just don't happen...

I need some PHP script that would transform phpBB codes to valid XHTML.
phpBB codes are the metatags used to format posts to phpBB-powered forums,
like the one at http://www.winlyrics.com .
I started writing my own parser, but still I would rather use some more
tested code.

Is it possible to configure phpBB to display threads "newsgroup style"?
What I mean by this is to show replies to the top level post indented
in a tree structure. One thing I cannot stand about phpBB is that all

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
