Hi All !
Could somebody help me out on this one:
My script needs to execute a time consuming process which might take
as long as an hour or so to finish. Usually, the time limit would
produce a time out after 30 seconds or so. Modifying the
set_time_limit() does not resolve the problem since the browser then
shows a could not display page error after 2 minutes or so.

Hi.
My Web application contains a csv export function. This function
exports a lot of data, and it should take up to 2 minutes.
However, I think the "loading time limit" is 30 seconds or so. Does
anyone know how I can change this?

I want to define communication time outs for non-overlapped read and write operations using GetCommTimeouts and SetCommTimeouts but they return with ErrorCode 87 (Invalid Parameters). But I deeply believe that my parameters are correct....

I need to know the local time for users of a global system.
Here's the scenario: My server (PDT time) hosts commerce for companies
around the world. It's fair to assume that those companies' customers are all
local to that company. With each transaction I get the current time, and
store as UTC/GMT. But when I want to show the time back to the user, I want
to show in *his* local time.
