I'm trying to set up PHP on my home PC, which runs XP-Home. I already
have Apache 2.0.54 running. I was going line-by-line through the
install.txt instruction file that came with the download of PHP 5.0.4.
THe process seemed to be going along well until I got to the following:
Windows NT/200x/XP and IIS 4 or newer
PHP may be installed as a CGI binary, or with the ISAPI module. In
either case, you need to start the Microsoft Management Console (may
appear as 'Internet Services Manager', either in your Windows NT 4.0
Option Pack branch or the Control Panel=>Administ rative Tools under
Windows 2000/XP). Then right click on your Web server node (this will
most probably appear as 'Default Web Server'), and select
'Properties'.
<<<
I'm not seing anything like 'Internet Services Manager' under
Administrative Tools, so I'm unable to proceed. Can anyone give me a
push in the right direction? Thanks.

I love the language. I love the community. My only complaint is that
Python for Windows is built with Visual Studio.
It is too difficult to build python, or a module, from source. This is
what open source is all about, isnt it? I even have a copy of visual
studio, and I still cant build modules from source, because my academic
copy is version 7. As a scientist funded by the NSF, I feel compelled to
do all my work using free software (I...

It's rather simple.

I want to start a process from a C# application. I also want to

2>&1
I know I can get StreamReaders for standard error and standard output
separately, but I want them interleaved like in the sample command
line above. I want to be able...

I have troubles with instaling .Net Framework 2.0 (Beta 2 - 2.0.50215). The
main instalation went just fine, troubles begin with my attemt to run
aspnet_regiss.exe -i. Asp.Net is instaled into IIS as it should be, sites are
working just fine. The only problem is thet this instalation did not create
the AspNet_WebAdmin folder in /inetpub/wwwroot, thus the WebAdmin is not

Good morning, I'm Filippo Battaglia. We're porting Apache STDCXX
under Nanodesktop. We are trying to make nd compatible also with
C++ and not only with C.
Unfortunately, we're finding different technical troubles in the
compilation.
So, can anyone of the developers tell with me ? So, I can solve
the troubles step by step and I can obtain a working version of
the library.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
