Hey all,
I'm attempting to do some form processing on a server that has
register_globals off, however, I've run into a confusing situation and
need some help.
Basically, the form is a multi-part/form-data form as I have it upload
a file in addition to submit a number of other fields, but the error I
have occurs even when no upload is done.

Hi,
I have a web page that opens a modal dialog (client side) in the
following manner
onclick="window.showModalDialog('/dialog.asp',null,'dialogHeight: 200px;
dialogWidth: 400px; dialogTop: 300px; dialogLeft: 150px; edge: Sunken;
center: Yes; help: No; resizable: No; status: No;');">
and the page loads in the modal dialog no problem.

Ok. I am creating a table in an access DB based on a form submission. This
works fine. The problem I am having is, if there is a space in the
submission. For example.... someone submits "The Island"
when the asp script uses SQL to create the DB, it creates it as "The" only.
SO I am guessing it stops when there is a space in the name. Is there some
way to get around this??

Hi,
I'm an ASP .NET Newbie and I'm hoping some can help me with some basic web
form navigation.
I have a web form with numerous text boxes for data entry. The text boxes
also have some Compare Validators and Required Field Validators on the form
too. The web form also has an OnServerValidate attribute on the Custom
Validator too.

I am tying to come up with an elegant way to process some input data that
come from a form. When the user hits the 'Submit' button, i want the form to
appear again with the already entered valid data filled in and prompt the
user to re-enter the non-valid data. If all data is valid, i will forward to
an other .php page which enters the data into a database.

Basically, im redesigning a form page on our website.
Currently the user submits the form, it does a few javascript checks
and either submits to the "processstuff.php" page, or gives the user a
JS error message.. where they have to go back and fill the details in.
Im trying to optimise and make this form/page as best as it can be.
Do you think it would be a better idea to continue using JS or use JS
then submit to the php page(where...

I'm going to stab myself in the face.
I have a page with a single form.
Regular old html.
There are a few checkboxes and textboxes and and two submit buttons (I hope that's not the issue...)
The form submits to itself (I control the backend so I handle it)
When I click the submit button, the form is submitted and I get my page back with a "form submitted" text in a certain place.
As SOON as it finishes loading, it automatically submits...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
