Hi,
I am trying to install PHP with the Apache DSO Installation on AIX 5.1.
I have successfully configured and installed Apache and can view the Test
Apache page successfully
The installation guide i am using ( http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/00/44/index4a.html
) suggest that the installation of packages Bison and Flex have to be installed
as part of the pre-requisites

I've got a weird problem, regardless of how often I enter:
perl -MCPAN -e 'install "Data::Dumper"'
I never get a message telling me that it is up-to-date. It will always
try to reinstall even though the installation is apparently successful.
Here is the output:

Hi,
I am facing the build problem while installing the DBD-MySql perl
module (ver 2.9008) using both GCC and CC compilers in HP-UX machine.
For the Build using GCC, the compiler error is produced due to the
unknown GCC compiler option "+DAportable".
For the Build using CC, the preprocessor error is produced due to the
recursive declration of macro "PerlIO" in perlio.h file.

Hi.
I lastly finished writing a perl application.
The application uses several modules like tk etc ...
Im now willing to send this application abroad.
The users which going to use this perl application have already installed perl on their computer.
However , the other moduls are not installed on users computers.
I would like to built this installation script which will install the modules automatically and not by entering PPM/CPAN.

I am installing Perl Modules for Bugzilla using PPM installation on Windows XP. When I execute this command from Command prompt "ppm install PerlMagick", I get one error message which states that "ppm installation failed:Can't find any package that provide PerlMagick".
I've downloaded PerlMagick and ImageMagick. But I don't know where to place these packages and how to install them manually. Can any one help?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
