Hello
I have a regex problem, spent about 7 hours on this now, but I don't find
the answer in the manual and googling, though I think this must have been
discussed before.
I try to simply extract the title and meta tags of a valid HTML page as an
array:
function extract_html($filename)

All,
Sorry for the 101 question but I can't figure out how to return all of the
contents of an array to another function. I been able to figure out how to
return individual elements of the array like "return newArray" would
return the value of value4 in the code below but not the complete array.
<html>
<head>
<title></title>

My HashTable (Global.Games) is a static collection of objects of type
Game. A Game object has 8 fields (exposed as properties). The key to
the HashTable is also one of these fields (GameID, of type int).
When I try to create a SortedList from the HashTable with the
following:
SortedList sortedGames = new SortedList(Global.Games);
I get an error message:

Hello,
I wanted to get some light in the subject. As I develop ASP.NET
applications, it's necessary to understand how exactly the server- communication happens. It seems like initially application is
"sleeping", and it is not loaded in the memory. Then, after very first
request to the app, it is compiled (aspx files), loaded into memory, and
executed. Then, a separate thread is issued to serve my page request, and it
takes care for me...

Hi there,
programming with Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 I want to open a modal
dialog from Default.aspx.
I searched the net and many newsgroups but I couldn't find any solution.
First I tried using two aspx pages with standard controls and all those
post-backs and their attributes OnClientClick. Since this didn't work, i
reduced it to a default.aspx page opening a pure html-page as a modal
dialog.

I am really eager to quit the Microsoft world and get into LAMP. For
the immediate future I can't do the Apache part, so I am at least
trying to get PHP up and running under IIS to learn it.
I used the windows installer .msi to install PHP on a WinXP pro
machine with IIS 5.1.
My current problem is that when I access a test page as in
http://localhost/simple.php I get the message "The specified module
could not be found."

I have an ASP.NET application which displays the directories & files in a
specified directory on the server. I use the
System.IO.Directory.GetDirectories() and System.IO.Directory.GetFiles() to
retrieve the lists of files and directories. I have two very similar
versions of this that I am debugging, both of which use the methods
mentioned above. However, one of them is returning the contents of the
specified directory and the other is...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
