Hi!
I'm using the MySQL "Load data" command to load big .csv files into a MySQL
database. Sometimes there are special characters within these .csv files
which cause some kind of "displacement" of the loaded data.
(1) Is there a way to check if the data from the .csv file was loaded
correctly ?
(2) I'd also like to know in which line an error occured.

hi all,
I wonder why this little script doesn't work, maybe it's the provider
not allowing the use of load data infile ( I know some don't let users
to run some tasks ), could you please tell me if the script it's right
before I ask the provider ?
I can insert data into the table using fgetcsv as well with no
problems,but I would like to understand.

We are using cli bulk loader to load data into db2. In some cases the rows
get rejected and this is flagged as a warning
allowing the program to continue.
Is there any way to trap this warning, I read the use of "EXCEPTION TABLE"
but that is limited to only unique index
violations and not constraint related errors.
How do we handle or capture the rejected records in an elegant way?

Hi, im facing a problem here. First of all here is my program
requirement. I got a .csv file with thousands of records inside, i need
to import them into my mysql database. So i tried using load data
infile on my pc using localhost everything goes fine, but when i change
the connection to my server, it seems tat the connection cant be
done... so wat went wrong?

I have a table in which its primary key is auto-incremented. Yet, when
I try to load data using load data infile, this column will not
auto-increment. I am leaving that column blank in my file to be
uploaded, yet it fills this value in with a zero for all records.
Should I be using a php script to load this file? Why isnt this
updating correctly?

The problem I am having with this is that the above function
