Hi,
We would like to develop a product in VB.Net. This is the first time I'm
involving in such type of practice. Can any one please provide the
information about the fallowing???
1. How to generate Licence Key(s) for the product? Are there any components
available to do so?
2. Since the product is distributed thru CDs, what is the process to provide
licence keys for the clients?
Please help.

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a way to generate a licence key from C/C++ program?
I want to create a licence file include an encrypted text and an expiry
date. The private key is hard coded in the program which will be used to
encrypt and decrypt the licence key from the licence text file.
With RSA, I want to hardcode a plain text as a private key in the C/C++
program, and store a signed public-key (the licence key - also include
an expiry...

I have a windows application that I'd like to sell eventually. What's the
simplest way to provide a secure licensing mechanism ? I'd prefer to have a
licence key that can't simply be distributed across the pirate community
(eg. astalavista) that will then work on any pc, so I was thinking of
somehow tying it to the machine (some unique ID like the NIC number, but I
realise some computers without a network card don't have one!). I'd need to...

Does anyone have experiences running postgres with Informatica tools?
More specifically, are there ways to use Informatica tools with
postgres?
Informatica doesn't list postgres in its supported platforms, so I
guess its most likely not supported.
http://www.informatica.com/products/powerexchange/supported_platforms/default.htm
I want to know if anybody has investigated on the feasibility of
making them talk?

I need to speed up the inserts through informatica, and I came across
insert buf option with db2 packages for import statements and how we
can use that option to do the same in java programs. Are there any
packages to be bound for informatica powercenter, so that I can rebind
them with this option?
My informatica person says that Informatica does not bind any packages
to the database. Is he missing something. Any one who has worked in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
