Hi we have four Map Network Drive (J,K,M,N) in our company ,in some users we are facing the problem like ,when they try to open J&N Drive by double clicking they are able to access it without any problem, but when they double click on K&M Drive it said access is denied, but they can access K&M drive by clicking on folder button in my computer then a left panel open, from here they can access all the drive without any problem

so please suggest me what should i do to open all the drive by double clicking.

Hello, I am trying to find a way to create a scheduled task or service that will copy my local profile folders under "Documents and settings" to a network drive. This would allow me to restore my settings if my profile became tampered with or corrupt. Is there any sample code available out there? -Robert

Hello, Im grabbing tables via VB code using visual foxpro ODBC drives. The tables directory is in a mapped network drive. The code works fine and does the job, however if the computer is idle for a while the network drive apears to have a red X on the icon and the drive becomes disconnected. this seems to effect the VB code from grabbing the tables. I get an error saying the specific table cannot be found. If i manually open the mapped...

I have a test server runinng 2003/IIS 6 with a mixture of asp and asp.net files. On my workstation I have a share set up to the folder where the web files reside. I am just doing quick and dirty asp editing (like I used to be able to do with 2K/IIS5) where I use VS.NET, open an asp file, make changes, save and refresh my browser. Problem is that I get an Access is Denied error when I try to save the file and then the file gets wiped on...

I am experiencing difficulty to access a mapped network drive in an ASP.NET application. While using the .Net framework v 1.1 implementation of System.IO.Directory.Exists() to check if the directory is exists and then create the directory if not exists, but it fails to recognize a mapped network drive. I have set also set the <identity impersonate="true" />. Because I need to check the Map folder of the Logged in user.

A file used by my application may be stored on a shared network drive, so that it can be accessed by different people using the same application. I have written some code that uses an OpenFileDialog to allow the user to specify the location of the file (I then store the filename in the registry). This all works fine from when the application is run normally, but I would like to force the user to do this when the software is first...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
