I am doing some robotics projects but my main area of interest is
trying out several algorithms for the processing of the stream of data
coming from the video.
I am wondering what type of camera I should invest in. Either I could
buy a web cam and hope I can find a driver I could either modify or
use. i.e. every frame is somehow stored on the computer automagically
or I could buy a camera not unlike the AVRcam...

I need to write an algorithm that sheds the outliers in a large data
set, for example, I might want to ignore the smallest 2% of values and
find the next smallest. Boost has a nth_element algorithm, however, it
partially sorts the data. I have a requirement that the data remain in
the orginal order. Of course I could make a copy of the vector or
array and then apply nth_element, but this would be expensive in
memory and would require...

Hello,
I would like to add a function to my application that would search an ip
range for network cameras, however I'm not sure how to go about it. I could
try pinging every ip but then I wouldn't know if it were an ip camera or an
other device, another option would be to try and look up a webpage on the
camera's build in webserver but that seems like quite a hassle. Anybody got
any good tips ?

all right so the script is pretty simple it goes it retrives what the
id of the post is and it lets you edit it well no it doesnt.
now if you go to www.kirewire.com/pp2/index/php you will see a number 1
that is the value of collumn home_id which is set to auto increment ect
ect
but this script which gets the id of home_id of a row and lets you edit
it does not work for somereason...

I had to repost this because I had to update and change my msdn alias. I
will re-ask the question and clarify a few things that were not clear
before.
This code is all executed on my dev machine running winXP sp2 and VS2005.
I'm using a c# 2.0 winforms app which talks to a c#2.0 asp.net app that also
contains 1 web service. Note: the webpage and web service are located side
by side in the same web app.

Hi
I am developing on a Symbol MC70 devices and in the past they have always
realised an SDK for development including Symbol.Camera Wrapper.
However it seems that for the MC35 they are not, or it is not yet available.
We have a current application written in C# CF2 that uses there
Symbol.Camera Wrapper and runs on the MC70 but we want to offer this same
solution on the MC35.
And this is casing us some difficulty.

Hey there.
I have made a new camera system and I'm having a sort-of issue.
The attached image (Untitled.jpg) will be the image I refer to when I say pink, orange, green or whatever. The black square is my camera and the gray square is a cube that I created to test the camera with.
The image (Untitled2.jpg) is the result of rotating the camera around the X axis by 45 degrees.
