Visual C# 2008 Express suddenly does not save project

Here is a strange occurrance: I start up my Visual C# 2008 Express program today, start a new project, put a bunch of controls on a form, save the project, and then close the program (for a break) and start it up again after. I reload my project, and it is empty. No form, no controls.

I try again. And again. The same continues to happen. Anyone know what can be wrong?

I did not register my Visual C# 2008 Express as it had been warning me to do, thinking I would wait until the grace period was finally over. I suppose it must be over now, but I no longer get any notices to register.

Could my not registering be the reason I no longer can save a project? Or could it be a corruption in the program because I at the same time had Visual C++ 2005 Express open? (I am copying a project from the one to the other so wanted both open to duplicate the form controls and code logic).

Thanks for any help!

Doh!!! Never mind!

Why have they made it so complicated???

For some reason my Visual C# 2008 Express decided to enter a mode where the forms and just about all else were hidden from view.

By typing around the interface like a monkey I found out how to make everything appear again.

:)
