Converting byte[] to audio or video stream

2 New Member
I'm working with a sql db field that stores audio and video as a varbinary(max) field. I'm able to retrieve this from the db as a byte[], but I'm struggling to figure out how to convert it back to an audio or video object that I can embed or link to in my website. I'm able to determine if the object is a audio or video from another field that is prefixed withe either "au_" or "vi_". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well you have the byte[] that makes up the data. Save it as a file?

Hello. It seems that this is too much for me... I "just" want to extract some part from an avi and write it to another avi. This is working if the audio stream is not compressed. But if it is compressed I don´t have any audio in the resulting avi. So I somehow have to decompress the audio and I need a way to compress it again before...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
