connecting two computers by cable

How do you connect two computers if one doesn't boot up correctly? I have
one computer that has an issue with System Registry Hive being too large, and
I think there is something else wrong with the hard drive. I just want to
access my files on that computer and save them to another computer, then wipe
the problem computer out and start over.....

Any chance you might know what I can do?
Thank you

You have the wrong newsgroup...but

the hard-drive is can still be accessed.

What you will need to do is to get a wire so you can hook up your "bad" hard
drive as a secondary hard drive on your "good" computer.

So then you will have something like a c:\ and a d:\

Boot up...copy d:\ files to c:\
and then u can shut down...put he d: back into ur other comptuer and format
it and clean it up.

Hope that helps.
