VS.net 2005 problems, how to completely uninstall?

I'm having a problem with VS.Net 2005. I accidently installed VSS 2005
over VSS 6.0. This has broken my instance of VS.net 2005. All
controls in the toolbox are disabled, I can not load any projects and
most project types are missing.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled VS.net multiple times and tried system
restore to no avail. I have not had any VS.net 2005 beta software on
this PC.

Any suggestions? Other than to reformat the HD and reinstall Windows?

Hello The ants are driving me crazy,

Try to roll back with System Restore. Return to previous day when you installed
VSS

Hi all, I'm still having problems with VS.NET 2003 running on my XP machine. I finally decided I might as well uninstall completely and reinstall from scratch. But lo and behold it won't let me uninstall... It gets stuck about 2/3rds of the way through the uninstall (based on the progress bar) and hangs for a very, very long time (a few...

Hi, I've installed (by that I mean a full uninstall and re-install) Visual Studio 2005 at least twice on my 64-bit windows machine (AMD64). I make sure I install the SDK 2.0 for x64, and the installation is completed 'Succesfully' as per the setup dialogs. However, when I try to open the IDE by clicking on the shortcut, or attempting...

Hello, I'm having some problems installing Visual Studio 2005. I'll briefly explain what's the history of the problem here. First I installed VS 2005 beta 2. I uninstalled it later via the Windows Uninstall Tool you can download. Then I installed Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition ENU. This was a trial version for 180 days.
