crystal report

hi,
I am doing a project using vb.net named bus ticketing.I want a report which will show the status of the seats booked by the passengers.I am using crystal report where the whole seats should be visible and the seats which are booked should come in any colour and which are not booked should be as it is.
Anyone please help in solving this problem.I am passing only the bus No and its departure date to the crystal report as parameter.I am using visual studio 2000 for this project.

first of all you take a form, add crystalreportviewer to the form from toolbox.
then generate a crystal report form file>add new item>crystal report. while generating crystal report, connect the report to your database and add fields to report that are necessary to you,
then to display desired record to the report use following statement
crystalreportviewer1.selectionformula="{<table name>.<field name>="& bus_no &""
to displaying in color, right click the fields in the report and go to
format>font>color
select color you want
click the button in front of it on which x2 is written
write the condition
if(condition) then
field=Red

Thats all. No need to write end if. and note that Red is color name, You can write any color name in which do you want to display the record
