How to find what code is being processed during debugging

P: n/a
VM
I have a pretty big application made in C but I only want to view the code
that's being executed when a button in a toolbar is clicked.
Since I didn't write the program, is there an easy way to find what code is
being executed in a certain event?

Thanks.
