Urgent Plz

HI

i've asp.net aplication and it is working fine in all systems but when i
uploaded it into clients server and trying to run the aplication then i'm
getting the following error

Server Error in '/' Application.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom
error settings

for this application prevent the details of the application error from being
viewed remotely

(for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on
the local server

machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable
on remote

machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config"
configuration file

located in the root directory of the current web application. This
<customErrors> tag should

then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom
error page by

modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's
<customErrors> configuration

tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Yoshitha,

Unfortunately, we can't. The error message you've got doesn't indicate any
reasons why this error comes up. More details would be needed to help you
solve the issue.

But generally speaking, the error might be caused for example because:

- security settings on the server are wrong (could be many things)
- IIS hasn't been properly configured
- database connection string points to a wrong server
- etc.

Please send us complete details about your client's system and your ASP.NET
application, and we might be able to help. Also try following the
instructions in the error message you've got.

If you read the message carefully, it is telling you how to make the actual
error message visible. The actual error message is being hidden. Make it
visible and you will have something to do next.
