Hello there,
I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to
upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is
to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to
the image.
I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database,
but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a
variable which is then used in a SQL update...

been saving in PNG format and then using them in my VB.NET app using the
picturebox control. I was really happy when I learned that you could use

I've an image that is 300x225 pixels.
I've to send this image to mobile phones using the mms. For this the best
result is given using 120x160 pixels.
So I may generate a 120 pixels large image, but I've a lot of unused space
under the image, as scaling proportionally, my image is then 120x90.
how to enlarge the image in order to get the picture 120x90 and then a white
stripe where I may write the website (or put the logo).

I've ended up with what seems like a rather complex structure for what I
thought would be a somewhat simple problem. Even that complex solution
works well only in FireFox (haven't tested Safari...).
Can anyone come up with a better solution, where 'better' means:
- Works as well as the example above, but is simpler.

CSS newbie again. I have a problem trying to get coffee mug images
within anchor tags to center with my link text for a vertical list
menu. If I use the horizontal/vertical properties of "background" or
"background-image", the positioning only works with specifying
pixels.
If I specify the vertical position in pixels, the image gets cut-off

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
