Many times I've found myself needing to work in commando mode where I
can't have access to my regular PC and tools to edit PHP based
websites. It would be nice to do the editing in a web browser but not
be set back to doing all editing using just a basic text box.
Has anyone seen a good, open source, online editor specializing in PHP?
Ideally, the editor will be able to browse a website for files, open
them in an editor, make backup...

Read through python site for programming tool, really plenty of choices :-)
(For c++, I just can't breath with very very limited choices)
Tried Spe, it come with wxGlade built-in very nice(is Spe still actively
develop?). But seem that Boa Constructor and PyDev(the plug-in for Eclipse)
also worth looking. Actually which one are you guys using? and why? I think
it is also valuable for those who are new to python as me.

I hope someone can help me, because what I'm going through at the moment
trying to edit XML documents is enough to make me want to never edit XML
again.
I'm looking for an XML editor that has a few features that you'd expect
in any editor, except nearly none of them seem to have:
1 - Search and repalce with Regular Expressions.
2 - Search and Replace in an Xpath context.
3 - User specified tag-generation for either on a...

Hello,
I am looking at getting a simple compiler for Windows that I can use
to play around with different Open Source software.
I am not a full-time programmer (anymore), nor do I plan to write
software either. I just want to play around and look at some of the
Open Source software that is out there for Windows.
Most of the applications are written in C, or C++ and therefore I

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
