Hi,
I have some PHP scripts I'm moving from my web server to the local PC.
They just do file manipulation.
Anybody know of a tool for translating PHP to Python? A partial
translation would be hwlpful.
Also, any tips or pritfalls to look out for?

I'm confused. XML looks to be extremely simple to read and write (so
simple that I feel confidant I could program serialization and
deserailization from a DOM document in an about an hour), yet I see
many serializing tools available (Xerces and .NET's System.Xml appear
to be the most popular). What functionality do these tools provide
that makes them useful over rolling my own parser?

Hi,
Microsoft provides in visual stdio 6.0, a tool called API text viewer.
It is used to access the API related functions.
But, I am not come across any tools like this in .NET. Every time
when I need for a API declration (C# format), I have to go and search
in internet with the api name and get it from some other sample.
Any tool (like API text viewer) is there for access APIs in .NET

I believe it was here that I recently saw a discussion that
pointed out that the language in the public identifier of a DTD
referes to the language in which the DTD is written and has no
bearing on what the language of the document might be.
I have only seen DTDs with EN. Granted the comments in those
DTDs were in English, but the DTD would work the same if the
comments were in Klingon or were entirely omitted. I find it

I'm working on a list of japaneese entities that contain the entity,
the unicode hexadecimal code and the xml/sgml entity used for that
entity. A unicode document is read into the program, then the program
sorts out every doublet and the hexadecimal unicode code is extracted,
but I dont know a way to find the xml or sgml-entity equivalent to the
unicode code. Anyone who could give me a pointer?

I'm now using STG XML validation tool to validate my XML files through
uploading.
But, STG can not include local DTD files.
Also, testing XML files on Firefox and IE always lead to inconsistent
results, which is really a confusion to me.
Are there any good XML validation tool to introduce?
