I am having a strange problem. The program is a bit complex, but I'll try to
simplify what I can. I apologize if this is complicated, but I think this
would still be simpler than posting a bunch of source code. If you want me
to post code, though, just say so.
In a nutshell, I've got an ASP.NET application that has one main ASPX page.
On that ASPX page, it has a user control (an ASCX) that displays the actual
data and controls I need.

I have created a ASP.NET application and created two forms within the
application (Webform1.aspx & Webform2.aspx). On the first form I have
placed a textbox (TextBox1) and a button, which when clicked opens the
second form using the window.open(). On the second form I have a textbox

I have a page that displays a picture. In the page load I figure out which
image and then do a StudentPicutre.imageurl = <some file name>
But if you use the browser's back button, enter different criteria, then
click the view button, the code runs to load a different picture, but the
old one shows up until I hit the browser's refresh button.
What am I doing wrong? How do I force the browser to load the new image?

Before someone flames me, I know this is the VB.NET groups, nonetheless, the
asp.net guys seems to have almost disapeared from the aspnet groups so I
thought I would ask this here.
I have a problem with an aspx web form in that if I refresh, it simply
resubmits the form and causes multiple submissions, in this case the form is
one which adds records to the database and refreshing a previously submitted
item repeats each time the refresh...

is there any way to refresh the page when the user clicks back button?I
have a jsp page that i need to regerenate everything everytime the user
visits it.
its either that or i want to disable the back button so to force the
user to click a link so that hte page is refreshed.
If anyone knows how to refresh on back button click or disable the back
button please help me out.

I have an asp.net 2.0 page that sets session variables and then
redirects to another page. For the page that gets redirected to, I've
swapped in a simple page for testing that reads the session variables
and displays their values.

right now i have a script that will add to the DOM tree of a form...
adding the hidden input values as children... it works well except
when i click "BACK", Firefox doesn't remove those objects... (IE 7 and
Safari 3 both removed them). So Firefox will actually submit more
objects that there really are.
so Firefox (2.0.0.8) is the only one causing trouble... is there a
way to "force" refresh of the page or reload it? if i refresh...

Hi
I have a page (default.aspx) that pulls it's HTML from a database.
I then have a "content management" page (editpage.aspx) that allows
the user to edit the HTML in the database.
When the user clicks the save button on editpage.aspx, the page
updates the database and then redirects to the default.aspx page.
