How to embed html in xml (i.e. prevent the html from being parsed)?

I want to embed html in my xml document. What tag must I use to
prevent the parser from parsing the html?

TIA!

A parser parses everything you feed it. Some parts of a document might be
marked as being "unparsed" character data, but it doesn't work the way you'd
think; it just leads to more FAQs. Just don't embed HTML in your XML. Embed
well-formed XHTML. Investigate the use of HTML Tidy, which is available at
www.w3.org.

Hello All I tried to embed Excel sheet into HTML page by following command: <iframe src="Tmp.XLS" width="100%" height="500"></iframe> and it works, showing Excel sheet inside the page, but there is no way I can save the Excel sheet after it has been change. The Excel menu is not active and the system is not asking whether I want to save the changes or not.

I need to build a site with pages based on a common layout. This layout may change in the time. To avoid extra-works and/or lack of quality, It would be interesting to have an embed/include tag to insert in an HTML page this common set of tags. A page should appear similar to: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html>

Taking the BODY element as an example, all of its style attributes ('alink', 'vlink', 'background', 'text', etc.) are deprecated in HTML 4.01, a fact noted in the DOM Level 2 HTML specification. The DOM specification does not explicitly itself deprecate the use of attributes however for the element in the interface definition section I read. Is there text in the DOM specification that states specifically that the DOM specification...

Newbie esp about html validation - seems like something to strive for. Yet many pages even "enterprise" corporate type pages do not validate, yet seem to display well on most browsers. Two questions: 1. What is the reward, the reason to strive for a validating page? 2. Given the code snippet below which does not validate - how can accomplish the same "look" with code that does validate? Please without CSS, just html. Thanks ....

Hi folks, I have a php file, it contains just a few php codes. The php codes I need to use is to construct an object, and use it several times, from html head until the last line of html code. I know I can construct the same object (I am using php5) several times, something like $object = new $class, and use several <?php $object->functionX ? ... <?php $object->functionZ ? to include php code in html code.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
