XSLT: iterating through keys

Hi,

I have used xsl:key to generate a lookup table and need to iterate
through its entries by key. How do I do this?

Simnply obtaining the minimal and maximal values (a thing I have not yet
been able to do efficiently) is not enough since the arguments I used to
generate the lookup table are not necessarily a continuous sequence of
numbers.

Thanks for your help

what you are looking for?

Cheers

I'm new to xslt, and I am attempting to use it to produce a comma-separated-value file from a large, dynamically-generated data file formatted in xml (examples of the xml file and my xslt style sheet follow). It works pretty well, but xsltproc takes an extremely long time to process the data file when it grows fairly large (>1MB). I've read...

Hi- Does anyone know a way to compare whether two nodes contain the same information in xslt (the name, attributes, and all content recursivly should be the same. I am interested in the case where node ordering matters, and also the case where it doesn't, but perhaps that is an advanced topic). Ideally the method should be available to...

I have a hashtable keyed by some name, holding an instance of an object. Most of the time I use the hashtable in the traditional sense, given a name, I lookup the object, then I run a method on that object. Occaisionally however I need to run a method on every object in the hashtable. I've done both For..Each and iEnumeratior loops. The messy...

Hello everyone I have sucessfully implemented a SAX filter to take a large XML data file, and strip it down to its essential elements, and then pass that on to an XSL transformer. (A bare bones example of the java code is listed at the end) I also need another XML file, a list of all possible records, which I use for getting additional...

Hello all, I am using .NET XSLT to transform an XML into another XML file. All this is fine with small files, but when tested with big files (30MB) it is taking between 1hr-2hrs to just transform the file. Here is the code snippet: XPathDocument xdoc = new XPathDocument(fs); XPathNavigator nav = xdoc.CreateNavigator();...

mild rant follows Working now for a couple of years with xslt and now xslt 2.0, does anyone else get the impression that xslt 2.0 somehow missed the point? Yes its got a fancy new data model (and thank goodness for the new grouping functions), but where are the functions which would really have made it useful without taxing the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
