I'm having a strange problem running a jar file I created using Eclipse.
The application works correctly inside the IDE -- it compiles, runs,
etc. So I exported it to a jar file and am trying to run it outside the
IDE now. It requires an external jar file.
I'm running it as:
java -classpath path_to_external_jar/extJar.jar -jar myapp.jar
When I do this, I receive a ClassDefNotFound exception for one

I am having a problem running my Java application from a remote folder.
My CLASSPATH variable is set to ". ; c:\java" and Path contains c:\java
I have an application ListFiles.class in c:\java that runs correctly
from that folder. It takes as an argument the folder to list files in.
Yet when from another folder I type "ListFiles .", expecting to get an
output of that folder, instead I get the error

hi,
i have a unique problem running trigger.
i have 2 triggers attached to 2 different tables.
on insert / update of each row in table-1, a trigger is fired to update value in table-2. Again on update of a row in table-2 trigger is fired to update a value in table-3.
The problem is, if i have 'n' number of rows to update, it works only for 'n-1' rows. The problem is only through the J2EE application. if the same table is updated...

Hello,
I have problem running the db2cc (Command Center) on AIX. I obtain SQL1224N
error when trying to display some windows of the CC. Eg. I try to create
database - OK, but then I try to watch details of some Bufferpool or
tablespace and obtain this message.. I issue "db2admin start" before running
db2cc.
I am running db2cc on XWindows.

IME problem running under Vista. Our application reads the contents of
RichTextBox's from the OnIdle loop. This causes problems for the
Japanese IME (I assume it's a problem in other IME's as well). This
is causing improper characters to display. I can comment out the
reference to the Text property and it works fine. This works fine under

If auto-format is turned off in VS2008, there is apparently no way to
indent a line. Under Tools->Options->Text Editor->C#->Formatting,
there are three checkboxes. Unchecking those seems to cause this

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
