After applying the KB Automatic Update #833987 (JPEG
Security Issue), our development server suddenly will not
allow any IIS 6.0 App Pool running with identity set to
ASPNET to run. The Event Viewer shows the following trace
from the Application Log:

Hi,
I'm running ClrProfiler for the first time to profile my web app, and it
keeps getting stuck at this msg box: "Waiting for Asp.net to start common
language runtime - this is the time to load your test page." even after I
launched my app and aspnet_wp.exe is running.
Do you know what I need to do to fix it? I also found some old post, a
person mentioned that I need to make sure I need to
run my aspnet with system account instead. ...

All,
If anyone has been following my trials over the last week see(Setting up a
Web Application on IIS 5.1 and ASP.Net Security Problems).
I'm having a problem running a Asp.Net Web Application. I've finally
narrowed the problem down to a security issue: The ASPNET (aspnet_wp)
account cannot connect to a Network resource instead of using a local path
ie: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot my development site resides on a Network Share...

I am running a Windows 2003 Server w/Framework 1.1 loaded. We have built a
..NET 2003 app and it requires that ASPNET be assigned permissions to several
folders and servcies.
The ASPNET account does not exist on the server (viewed through Active
Directory). The accounts IUSR_WIN2K3SRVR and IWAM_WIN2K3SRVR do exist. I
thought that the Framework installation would automatically create the ASPNET
account - it does appear on other...

I am using WSE 3.0 with Visual Studio 2005, specifically I'm using Kerberos
authentication and passing Kerberos ticket from Presentation Tier (VSTO.2005
client) to Server Tier through our Web Services (based on WSE 3.0).
Having our WSE 3.0-WebService over Windows Server 2003, everything works
great, but, over Windows XP, I have a problem (which is documented in WSE
3.0 help) but its workaround does not work properly (at least with my...

I've just noticed I don't have an ASPNET user account running on either my
Workstation or Server (both running .net2.0, workstation has vs2005 pro).
Simple question... should it be there with .net2, and if so how can I create
it!?
Cheers

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
