3 New Member
Hi,

i am new in .net, and i am confused how to set cursor position in textbox.
I have made an application of keyboard and other application of User Info. when i run my applications then the form named User info opens. in this form i have a text box, when this textbox is clicked then keyboard opens.

But when i type a word from my keyboard application into the text box, then the cursor is disappeared.

i want some help about this problem. i want that when any key is pressed or clicked from my key board application then the Cursor should appear and move as the keys are being clicked.

waiting for ur replies.

Please do not double post your questions. It clutters the forum and is absolutely pointless. If you feel that your question has been neglected, please reply to your old question. That will "bump" it back to the top of the forum. If you can't find it, look through the "My Subscriptions" link at the top of the page. If you need to add information to the question, just add it in a reply. So you see, there is no reason to make two posts.

Please read the Posting Guidelines.

I know that when you use an input type="submit", the focus goes automatically to the button, but I don't want to use a button. See please the piece of code: <html> <head> <title>Untitled Document</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;

Tearing hair out time! Simple attached page shows the problem. http://www.brilley.co.uk/TestFocusSelect.htm Using a function to test if too many characters have been keyed in to a textarea. Obviously, must return focus and select to the textarea if too many have been keyed. When the function is called with onblur, it works in IE but not in Safari or NN. The function is called but the focus() and select() methods fail.

OK, this is a stupid thing, but I can't seem to get this to work. I have a form with a subform (in continuous form view). A combo box on the main form has code in the AfterUpdate event which adds a record to the subform (based on the value of the combo box) and requeries the subform control. I want the focus to return to the combo box on the main form when it's done, but I can't get it to do so if the user enters a value and presses Enter...

Hi all, I have come across a weird problem when attempting to automatically set the focus in a vb.net form to a checkbox control... In my form I have (on a tab page in a tab control) several textboxes and a checkbox. The behaviour I want from my app is as follows:- When the textbox (which is prior in tab order to the tab control) has been filled with a certain length of text by the user, the focus is

I am looking for a way to force a Tkinter window into focus on a system level. I know the force focus method should bring one window of my application into focus, but it seems I need to have some part of my application already in focus on a system level to make this work. If for example I am entering text at the command line and call a force_focus on my root window the call will not return till I click on a window in my application. The...

Hello. I"m new to this group, and to JavaScript in general, so please forgive me if I breach local etiquette. I'm trying to implement some client-side 'dynamic' validation on a form. I'm having a couple of problems, which I'll try to describe. But this e-mail will only reproduce one of them, in a "short" example. What I'm generally doing is having each form entry contained in a div, which as a label, an input with some event handlers,...

I've created a small calculator that will pop up on demand within a form. The calculator is working fine, but I'm having a focus problem. The calculator looks almost identical to the Windows calc.exe, I wrote a replacement so that I could pass values in and out as needed. The calculator has a text box for the numeric values that are either typed in or entered by clicking on the visual keypad. Clicking on the visual keypad works...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
