controls are inside WebpartZone.

Using MS Expressions Interactive, if I design a site that uses WPF
functionality, (I have .NET 3.0 on my developer machine) how does it
work once uploaded onto an ASP.NET 2.0 server that doesn't have the
..NET 3.0 framework installed.
This question may not apply depending on the above answer. Many
developers are using a hosting service for their sites. It's likely
the majority don't have .NET 3.0 installed. Does this mean it will be...

I need to draw a black lined circle and save it as a gif file. Can this be
done with wpf or do I need to use GDI+
The examples I found seem to only apply to UI elements not a file.
Thank you

Hello All--
Just a general (or perhaps loaded) question - is it considered good or bad
practice to use code-behind with a CustomControl.generic.xaml file?
For instance, with a control I'm creating, it would be nice to use a
DispatchTimer to "ramp up" a value, depending on how long the mouse is held
down.
Thanks,

Hi George,
I have downloaded your sample solution and built it on my machine. I got a
compilation error indicating that the type of "CustomResources" doesn't
exist in the following xaml code:
<Expander Style="{DynamicResource {ComponentResourceKey
TypeInTargetAssembly={x:Type res:CustomResources},
ResourceId=CustomExpanderStyle1}}" >

Hi All,
I have a custom UserControl that is used as the list item in a listbox
in my main WPF window.
Is it possible to have key bindings that apply to every instance of
the user control? For example, I have a keybinding Alt+R for a button
in the UserControl. However when there are multiple instances of the
UserControl in the listbox in my main WPF window, pressing Alt+R just
shifts the keyboard focus to the button in the first user...

I've just tested and confirmed that Vista's Aero theme can also be
used when my WPF application is running on Windows XP. So it's not a
native theme but an imitated one that can be used regardless of OS. As
long as I know there are about 3 built-in themes, Aero, Luna and
classic. There are many free third-party themes for Windows XP,
FireFox, WinAmp and so on, then how about for WPF? Are there any more
free WPF themes available?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
