When I launch a popup window from our application, the status bar now
shows up for some reason. I explicitly turn it off in the code that
launches it. This problem just started happening after our app has
been around for more than a year. It may be because of I.E. SP2, but
I'm not sure yet. If anyone has experienced this problem, I would
appreciate some help. Thanks, Terry.

I'm using the System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail object (.NET 1.1)
to send email from an ASP.NET application. Everything
works fine when I run it from Windows 2000 Server, but
not from WinXP Pro. Is it not possible to send mail
using the SMTP service or XP? Is there a different class
that I should be using? I don't really need to send
email from XP, but since I'm doing my development from XP
it's really slows down debugging to have to comment...

Like many people, I normally use Yahoo! Mail via the web and like to keep all
my emails stored on the Yahoo! server. However sometimes I can’t get access
to a PC/the web and I download my emails to a PDA/palmtop via POP3. The PDA
uses Windows Mobile software. Since using the PDA, I have had the problem of
emails disappearing from the Yahoo! server. However I think I now understand
how to avoid this.

I am working on a system that must have IE7. It cannot use IE8.
I need to turn off the Phishing Filter, but I can't do it through Internet Options or GPEdit, as evidenced by the pictures. Any help? IE7 must be available for use due to policies at my work, so the solution is not "get Chrome!"

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
