I'm looking to try to get a users MAC and/or NetBIOS name when they visit
my website. It somehow can be done, I'm not sure with PHP, but it can be
done.
Does anyone have any idea how?
As an example check out:
http://stealthtests.lockdowncorp.com/
On that site, there are tests that will display NetBIOS & MAC addresses.

I just discovered that this:
Dim searcher As New Management.ManagementObjectSearcher("SELECT
NetConnectionStatus FROM Win32_NetworkAdapter")
For Each networkAdapter As Management.ManagementObject In searcher.Get()
does not work on Win2K to get the network connection status! Does anyone
have some samples on how to do this same thing on Win2K?

Hi all
I'm developing an application and need to know how to get all computer names which are connected to a network. I found out that system.directorysrvices name space provides a method to get all domain computers, but in my case i need to query for all possible reachable computers in the netowork. this is similar to search fucntion in windows for all computers

i want to make my own browser now that can do that, but i dont know how to

I need to restirict access at the page level to a range of IP
addresses. What's the best approach? I thought of building an HTTP
module that could compare the requesting IP with a restricted range,
