Hello,
I have build a client/server application with the socket module. The
server mades UDP broadcasting and the client only reads UDP broadcast
messages. All work fine.
Now I want to use for the same thing the socketserver module, it's ok
for the client, but I don't succeed in making work the server :-((

I've made a small chat page for a website that I made as a hobby...
I didn't want to use Java, as alot of users can't/don't know how to download
and install this. I know it's easy, people. But some people just don't get
it.
I didn't want to use flash, because ... I have no idea how.
And it has to be a web page based chat, so that anone who can browse, can
use this chat. (Firewalls, etc)

Hello!
I have got machines that answer a certain UDP broadcast request with certain
information about them.
Some years ago I wrote a VB6 application that just sent out this UDP
broadcast request and received all machine information to display all
available machines in a grid.
Now I want to write the same application in C# but so far with no success.

Hello!
I am trying to build an ajax chat system. Currently I have it so that
when you chat, you upload your message to the database, and each client
is polling that database to see if he/she has any new messages. The
problem with this is that I poll at 2 second intervals (since
connection is not active), and so its not as responsive as I'd like it
to be.
My question is, is an active HTTP connection possible? How did Meebo or
Gmail...

I wrote a chat width AJAX.
In my home wampserver apache it works just fine.
The problem starts when I trying to upload the chat in to my real
server. The chat prints error 403 in places which it should print the
http request. Like I don't have permissions in these pages.
there two things I should mark
1.I did let permissions to write and execute (chmod) my chat files.
2. My home server php version is 5.3 and my distant server php...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
