Hi Vingomail,

I've changed the title of your thread to better reflect your problem. A title like "Please Help" is not descriptive and many people will just skim over it. In the future please provide better titles for your threads. When you have the time please read over the Posting Guidelines, specifically the section on Use Good Titles. Also, to help get your question answered more quickly in the .NET forum check out the thread on Get A Faster Answer To Your Question for more tips on thread titles.

Thanks

I think you would need to do what people did for regular HTML, and that was use javascript for the mouseover/mouseout events (or was it mouseleave?) and change the status yourself.

Another possibility would be to use buttons or links instead of linkbuttons

I see some code examples like this: <DIV onmouseover="this.style.background='blue'"> and other code examples like this: <DIV onmouseover="javascript:this.style.background='blue'"> Which way is more proper? Or are both ways perfectly fine? Are there any specifications that discuss when "javascript:" should be put in front of code?

Does the file extension matter when including a JavaScript file in an HTML page? Normally, one would include a JavaScript file in an HTML page using <script src="foo.JS" type="text/javascript"> However, I have found that I can use an alternate file extension, such as <script src="foo.HTML" type="text/javascript"> It works fine with my IE 6 and Mozilla. Will it work with other browsers?

I've written a web control that allows you to hide certain bits of your page when the specified selectbox has a certain value. It's a simple enough bit of logic, but I got sick of coding it again and again in different pages. Now I have a page that needs the same functionality except with a checkbox rather than a dropdown. The code I need will be mostly the same, so I decided to make a subclass of the HtmlHider specially for hiding...

This is the only working way to completely hide your JavaScript code from the client just like PHP or ASP code. Here we'll need the help of PHP. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
