In a multi-user environment, I have a table that stores hyperlinks to
documents that are stored on the machine that hosts the mdb database. The
table entry looks like this:
ProductDescription.htm#file:\\DBHOST\C$\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\My
Documents\Products\Documents\ProductDescription.htm
Having the hyperlink in this format allows the document to be opened by
anyone on the local area network.

I have to copy files from one network share folder to another (both are
on different remote machines). Server running this asp.net appllication
is not configurable (except web.config), while network forlers requires
passwords.
The ideal solution would allow me to simply write File.Copy (from, to,
true).
I thought of two possibilities: either map a network folder inside the

I am currently trying to use a test machine to access web site files on a
remote machine.
Once set up IIS with the files pointing to a share on the remote machine, i
try view the default page.
I get an error message statting 'The base type 'NameSpace.Class.Default'
does not exist in the source file 'Default.cs'.'
where namespace and class are the names of my namespace and class.

Say if I give a path something like this:
\\testserver\testfolder the asp.net application sould be able to create
folder "testfolder" in the machine named "testserver"

If I am provided a UNC, how can I convert it to it's absolute path on the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
