Dear all,
Is there any way to activate the Save As command from Javascript. I
would like to have a "Save as" button on a page which has been
dynamically created (client side using document.writeln) so that the
user can save a copy.
I am working towards cross browser compatibility so any help for any
browser would be good.
I know I could put up a bit of text telling the user what the shortcut

Greetings all,
As a newbie, using Access 2000, I would appreciate advice on the best
way to include pictures.
I have developed a 'Home Inventory' database which can include jpeg
thumbnails of my items and I can review things at anytime - on the desktop
where I created all this - no problem so far.
I networked the mdb file (only) across to my laptop and found the
pictures don't show. So I guess my database table is only storing links to

How can I have a box (maybe a picture box or a panel or something?) that
will display all of the contents of a particular folder and show the picture
files as thumbnails along with the name of the file right below them?
I then need to be able to drag each item onto another picture box (or
something similar) where the picture will be displayed.

Could someone please point to to a tutorial / code for dynamically resizing
images on upload, THEN saving to disk on the webserver.
I need users to be able to upload images to my server, but they will not be
aware of optimising graphics for the web, if someone uploads a 300k 640x480
jpeg for example, i need to be able to shrink it down to a - say 400x300 65k
file BEFORE saving to my webserver.

I want to simulate the dynamic thumbnail display of Windows Explorer (winxp)
on a form or pannel container. If I place a picture box on my container
form/pannel and dimension it to the size of a thumbnail and set the sizemode
to Stretch -- I get one thumbnail. I want to retrieve all the picture files
(jpg, bmp) in a directory into an array list and then display this list as

that the file is returned dynamically (via a search) and I need to get
the file name for the save dialogue. I've heard that using ADO streams
keeps it from opening in the browser, and forces the popup for
