Problem getting proper Url after browser.goBack( )

1 New Member
I am trying to get the url of a WebBrowser Control after using the WebBrowser.goBa ck() function. When i use the WbeBrowser.Url property then it returns the Url of the page that was Navigated to instead of the page that it goes back to, but it still however display's the previous page when calling the goBack() function. Does anyone know how i can get the proper Url or how i can access the browser's url history?

Hi group, I have some problems with clearing floated divs. My usual method works fine in Konqueror, but not in Firefox. Here's an example: <html><body> <div id='left' style='float:left; border:1px solid red;'>Floated left</div> <div id='right' style='float:right; border:1px solid blue;'>Floated right</div>

I have the following problem: I populate a page with a specific amount of <div id="MyTest"> containers inside another <div> container. for (i=0; i < MyString.length; i++) document.write('<div id="MyTest" style="position:absolute;top:0px;left:0;height:12;width:12;text-align:center">'+MyString+'</div>'); Now if MyString contains 6 characters, I end up with 6 <div id="MyTest"> containers. With IE I am able to access these containers as...

Hello all, Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm a newb. I was creating my first windows form app as described in the help file. I'm fairly certain that I entered everything as I was supposed to, but the browser is not displaying anything but the standard IE error "The page cannot be displayed". The app seems to be going forward & backward, but no web pages are being displayed. I added full http paths to the list in the combo box. I...

Problem is I couldn’t get the proper value after casting (explicitly / implicitly). Code looks as below : const double d_a = 100e-9; // 100ns const double d_b = 20e-9; // 20ns

Hi all, I posted this question in the sqlserver.newusers group but I am not getting any response there so I am going to try it on the fine folks here:). I inherited some legacy ASP codes in my office. The original code's backend is using the SQL Server 2000 and I am testing to use it on the Express edition. And I run into the following problem.

I noticed that when I force a browser back and the resulting page contains a querystring, it fires the Page_Load event. But if the resulting page doesn't contain a querystring, no Page_Load fires. Is this as expected? I use the following code to create the brower back: ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "goBack", "<script type='text/javascript' language='javascript'>window.history.go(-2);</script>");

I'm experiencing a very odd problem and it's happening only in IE6. IE7, Safari, Opera and Firefox are all working properly. What's happening is that I'm using XHR request responses to update the pages DOM, there appears to be a conflict and/or race condition that pretty much locks the browser down for several minutes until one of the requests times out. A huge red flag stands out to me from the XHR object documentation...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
