I'm having a problem using a path with spaces as a parameter to
os.rename() in a program on WinXP.
This works fine at the command line (where the folder "c:\aa bb" exists)
> os.rename( "c\aa bb", "c:\cc dd" );

Hi,
I'm wondering if its possible to write a kind of music
editor in vb.net. I would like to be able to examine the
tracks of a CD, reading the track titles if possible and
then allow a 30 second portion (I believe that's what the
copyright allows) of a song to be saved for inclusion in a
web page.

Does anyone have any XSL style sheets or know of a program/editor that
can simply transform standard Music XML files to a printed score?
Note, not a full-fledged notation program just a, XML to print
transformer. Most music notation programs can export to Music XML
these days, but I've had a hard time finding XSL/FO stylesheets or
utilities that can transform it back to engraver quality musical scores

change the extension from WAV to BMP. Another coder brought up the
complexities of actually converting WAVs to JPGs and back again,

At the request from MacMan247, I am hereby posting the 'how I did it' to get the music from ShadowWraith.
Here's what I did. Turns out that the music is stored in MOD format inside the ShadowWraith Music file's resource fork.
