Hello,
I am trying to right an application that will dump the information from an sql server 2000 into Access 2000 via VB.net
The gist is, we have 1 table in sql 2000, it has 5 columns and 15 rows of data, one of the columns is a date that holds the info of when the record was added.
I want to select all rows that have a date between X and X and then dump them, in there entirety into an Access DB that I can then give to the client for them to build their own reporting off of.
I need to use VB.net 2005 to do this as the application will be placed into a schedule to run once every week or so.
Any ideas on how to do a direct dump with out reading every field of every line into a string to compile an insert statement to run into access.
The other problem is that one of the sql fields is a memo field and is multi line.
Please let me know what you think.
