That is AJAX.
Javascripting do that.

Have you used AJAX .Net?

have a play around it, if you cant recieve your results satisfactorily you will have to look into writing your own ajax javascripts.

Thank you so much for your reply

But, I am new to AJAX.net. I can write AJAX functions to return the data to javascript but I dont know about populating second box in main window. Can you give further information on what sort of functions are required. It will be great if you can provide what area to be concentrated in AJAX.

Thank you

try the ajax modal windows.

they can almost match the ones you wanted.

however, I use Ajax .Net only so that i do not have to figure out how ajax / javascripts work, and how to write them.

I have set onmousedown to change the cursor, but this setting is ignored (IE 5.5; NN 6.1 on Win 2K Pro) until the mouse is either moved or the mouse button is released. On Opera 7.01, the setting seems to be ignored completely, even when I try with window.setTimeout. So my two questions are: (1) Most important: Is there anything I can do so that I don't have to wait for the next mouse event before the cursor gets repainted. (2) Why...

In my Windows Forms application, while executing a process that takes some time, I am changing the cursor to the hourglass by setting Cursor.Current = Cursors.WaitCursor. This is working just fine, except that any mouse events generated during this wait period (such as clicking on a button, etc.), get processed once the processing is complete. For example, while waiting for my task to complete, I click on a button (even though the...

Does anyone know what would cause a popup with scrollbars=1 to suddenly lose its scrollbars? I have a popup from window.open (....scrollbars=1..) and it used to be a normal window that would have it scrollbars. Now, at least on some machines, not all, the scrollbars are nor present. The user has to click on the screen and drag the mouse to move the webpage down. Any ideas? Thank you for any help.

I want to realize the following.... The user logs in to a certain webpage (username & password). Then the user sees a html page with a link in it. This link is a target="_blank" link, so it would open in a new Internet Explorer window. Normally the user has the possibility to go on that link (without clicking with left mousebutton), pressing the right mouse button, going on copy location, open a new browserwindow by

Hi, I am attempting to detect mouse clicks from within curses, using "select" on sys.stdin. It is working great within an xterm under X, but not very well in a "real" linux console. When I click my mouse while on the "real" console, nothing happens at first, even on repeated clicks. Once I press a keyboard key, I see a "409" in my trace, indicating the mouse event. The next keystroke will bring up the two keyboard events. The additional...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
